Charles Douglas "Doug" Bodine March 20, 1952-December 19, 2017
Doug Bodine, cherished husband and father, passed away Tuesday, December 19th at his home surrounded by his loving family. Proud Gainesville Red Elephant and Georgia Bulldog, Doug owned and operated Gainesville Rapid Roof for over 40 years. He always said, "His greatest contribution is the ones you leave behind." (Alan Jackson) He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Teresa, his son, Charlie and his wife Alyssa and his daughter, Kelly and her husband Jason. Visitation will be held Friday, December 22nd, 2017 in the Reception Hall of Gainesville First United Methodist Church from 5:00pm-7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Good News Clinic of Gainesville, the American Lung Association, or in true Doug fashion, simply pay it forward in kindness.
