Notes for: Ambrose Wycliffe

Durham Monumental Inscriptions, v. 6 (DU/M 6).

Near the back of this volume are some records on St Mary, Whorlton, Co. Durham. Whorlton is about four miles west of Barnard Castle. There are some records from the early 1700's, but I did not see anything from the 1600's in kind of a quick perusal. Record 135 has the burial record of Ambrose Wycliffe, It says "Here lies the body of Ambrose son of Francis and Ann Wycliffe d. 16 Jan 1773 aged 2 yrs, 2 mths, 18 days."
