Notes for: Maria Bodine
Based on the fact that she was born in Virginia and lived 1850 in Fountain Co., IN, I would guess she is the granddaughter of John Bodine and Jane Marlatt from Warren Co., OH. And based on her age, she must be the daughter of John and Jane's oldest son, Abraham Bodine and his wife Mary Cross. That is only a guess right now.
From Ronny Bodine:
Maria Bodine, having been born in Virginia in 1813 and married in Warren County, Ohio, was undoubtedly related to the family of John and Jane (Marlatt) Bodine who was the only Bodine family living in Warren County, Ohio at the time she married in 1836. Only one of the four sons of John and Jane Bodine married before her birth--Abraham Bodine, 1811 in Virginia. There is no record of Abraham having accompanied his parents to Ohio as did the other sons and one might speculate that he died before the family relocated or perhaps along the way or soon after, leaving his daughter in the care of his parents. Unless evidence is found to the contrary, it will be ASSUMED here that Maria was the daughter of Abraham Bodine.
