GENEVA - Regena J. Darling, 68, passed away peacefully on Monday (April 24, 2023). Calling Hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday (May 6) at the Seneca Castle United Methodist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Whitney Cemetery. Friends may contribute to the Seneca Castle United Methodist Church in Regena's memory. Regena was born May 30, 1954 in Clifton Springs, the daughter of the late Clayton and Elsie Bodine. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid bird watcher. But most important to Regena was her family whom she adored. She was a devoted wife, caring mother and grandmother, loving sister and dear friend. Regena will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 51 years, Russell Darling; daughter, Christina (Donald) Cook; grandchildren, Chloe and Cassie; brother, Ron Bodine; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Regena was predeceased by her parents; father- and mother-in-law, Ken and Lucy Darling; sisters-in-law, Holly Brown and Becky Darling. Arrangements by the R.A. Patrick Funeral Home, Clifton Springs
