Judith "Judi" E. Parker Bodine, 64, of Naples, departed November 29, 2010 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She is survived by her beloved mother, Deloris Parker of Naples, FL; loving companion, Ed Torroni of Naples, FL; aunts, Dixie Alexander, Roedean Dowell, and Alberta Malcolm of Columbia City, IN; cousins, Gale Vance of Fort Wayne, IN, Teresa Dowell of Columbia City, IN, Stan Dowell of Churubusco, IN, Kelly Peterson of Avilla, IN, and Kevin Alexander of Columbia City, IN; and special sistas, Jean Torroni Williams, Carol Fahl, Susan Young, and Elise Missail. She will be missed by her many Collier County Government family and friends. Judi was born in Fort Wayne, IN to Charles T. "Tad" Parker and Deloris Veazey Parker. She had a 25 year career with the Collier County Government and retired in January 2010. Judi's most recent position was the executive secretary to the county manager. Prior to this, Judi worked for 17 years with Penn Central Railroad in Fort Wayne, IN. Judi was a golf and fitness enthusiast, loved sailing and was an avid NASCAR fan. She enjoyed music, cooking, and entertaining. She was an extremely caring, witty, and cheerful person who loved life to the fullest. Her memorial visitation will be held Sunday, December 5th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, FL. A celebration of her life will be held Monday, December 6th, 10:00 a.m., at Moorings Presbyterian Church, 791 Harbour Drive, Naples, FL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Avow Hospice or Moorings Presbyterian Church.
