Jeremy Todd Bodine of Blountsville, AL passed away on May 21, 2017 at the age of 34. Mr. Bodine was a 2001 graduate of Susan Moore High School where he played baseball in his younger years and was a member of the percussion line in the band. He worked as a Security Guard at Tyson Foods, Inc. He enjoyed wrestling, car shows, and was a big movie buff. He loved his family and loved being around people, never meeting a stranger and always trying to get a laugh out of everyone. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Ralph Gibbs, Nelson and Melba Bodine, M.L. and Miriam Jenkins and Merle and Margaret Couch; brother, Brandon Bodine. Survivors include mother, LaTara Jenkins (Ronnie) of Oneonta; father, Raymond Bodine (Regina) of Arab; brothers, Brian Bodine (Jennifer) of Arab and Corey Jenkins (Teresa) of Union Grove; sisters, Aimee Ashton of Birmingham, Terra Womack (Matt) of Blountsville, Hallie Bodine of Union Green and Courtney Morrow of Arab; a host of nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles, Ralphette and Tim Battles of Straight Mountain and Michelle Harvey (Kean) of Arab; uncles and aunts, Jimmy Bodine and Edward Bodine (Shirley) all of Arab; grandmother, Demaris Gibbs. Bro. Bill Barnett and Tuomah Sahawneh will officiate funeral services on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 1PM from the Chapel of Lemley Funeral Home with burial following at Hood Cemetery. Mr. Bodine will lie in state at Lemley Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 5:30PM until 8PM and on Wednesday from 8AM until service time. Pallbearers: Corey Jenkins, Matt Womack, Barry Jenkins, Kenneth Loyd, Clay Bodine, Cole Bodine, Joshua Harvey and Jacob Harvey.
