1860 Forest Lake, Susquehanna Co., PA: James BODINE 36 NY farmer, Phebe J. 30 NY, Adeline H. 10 NY.

1865 Owego, Tioga Co., NY: James BODINE 39 farmer, Jane 36 wife, Adaline 14 child. James was born in Cortlandt County, Jane & Adaline in Orange County.

1870 Bridgewater, Susquehanna Co., PA: James BODINE 44 NY farmer, Jane 37 NY, Addie 20 NY.

1892 Owego, Tioga Co., NY: James BODINE 67 veteran, Jane 61.

"James Bodine and Jane Bodine, his wife" were named in the summons of the Orange County, Supreme Court of 2 Nov 1896, published in the Middletown (NY) Daily Argus of 2 Jan 1897.

James Bodine, of Campville, dropped dead as he was passing to the house from the barn. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. A. V. Henstrought, one brother, Charles, resides on Robert street, this city, and a sister, Mrs. Bolton, lives in New York. His age was 75 years. he was a brave soldier during the civil war and at one time was a member of Gen. Lyon Post. [Note: Campville is located within the Town of Owego, in Tioga County.]

James Bodine died 27 May 1899 in Campville, Tioga County.
Jane Bodine died 25 June 1908 in Campville, Tioga County.

Obituary, The Owego (NY) Daily Record of Monday, 29 June 1908.
The funeral of the late Mrs. Bedine [sic], whose sudden death at Campville, Saturday morning, was mentioned in the Record, Saturday, will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m., at the church at Campville. The burial will be at Campville. Mrs. Bedine was 78 years old, and is survived by one daughter, Mrs. A. B. Henstraught; also two sisters, Mrs. Mary Williams of Waverly and Mrs. Hannah Ball of Scranton, Pa.

Note: The 1908 obituary of Jane Bodine names among her survivors a sister, Hannah Ball of Scranton, PA. That would be Hannah Ball 1833-1922 in Scranton, daughter of Moses Williams. Thus, Jane's maiden name would be Williams.
