Mrs. George Nicholson has received word of the death of her uncle, Thomas Bodine of Logansport, a former Rushville resident. Mr. Bodine left here about 30 years ago for Logansport where he had since resided. He worked for the Elliott Wholesale Company in Logansport for many years and later was caretaker of the Cass county fairgrounds. While a Rushville resident, Mr. Bodine was employed by the late Harrie Jones and several other Rush county horsemen. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mary Manning of Rush county and Mrs. Mary Garrett of Briston, Oklahoma, five nephews and three nieces. Funeral services and burial were held at Logansport.
