Notes for: Mary Frances ("Fannie") Bodine

She was Mary F. Bodine, age 8 in June 1860, Frances Bodine, age 18 in June 1870, M. Fannie Bodine, age 27 in June 1880 and Mary Bodine, age 48 in June 1900 living with her sister Adeline Bodine in Middletown, Orange County and engaged as a landlady. Mary Bodine remained single throughout her life.

Mary Frances Bodine, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Hunter Bodine, died at her home, 9 Benton avenue, Monday morning, after a short illness of acute Bright's disease and pericarditis. Miss Bodine was born in Middletown in 1852, and passed all her life here, with the exception of a few years spent in Newton, N.J., where her father was in the foundry business. She was a member of Grace Church. She is survived by an only sister, Adeline. Funeral services from late residence, Thursday at 3 p.m. Interment in family plot in Hillside Cemetery.
