In June 1900 and April 1910, Alvah Bodine lived in Center Township, Marion County, Indiana working as a house painter. In 1900, he reported having been married 18 years and that his wife had borne 4 children, all then living. In 1910, he reported that in 28 years of marriage his wife Nellie had borne 5 children, all of whom were then living. In Jan 1920, the family lived in Dawson Township, Tulsa County, Oklahoma and in April 1930 in Tulsa, Tulsa County where Alvah worked as a contract painter.
