On 5 June 1917, Francesco Bodine registered for the World War I draft in Pittsburgh, Penn. He stated he was born 3 Jan 1888 in Vill Campagna, Italy, worked as a waiter at the Duquene Club in Pittsburgh, was married and had a child.
In petition for naturalization, May 1920, he gave his name as Francesco Bodini, arriving aboard the ship "Roma" at New York on 16 March 1912. He stated he was born 3 Jan 1888 at Villacampagna, Italy. His wife is Mary, born 9 Sept 1892 in Italy, and his son is Anthony, born 17 Feb 1912 in Italy. Mary's family name of Pozzettis is given in the marriage license of her daughter Catherine to Richard Lutz.

Announcement is made of the marriage on July 24 at Sewickley of Frank Bodine, of Sewickley, and Mrs. Mabel Lydick Walker of Sewickley Heights. Mrs. Walker is a former resident of East Oak street, Indiana, Pa. They are now residing in the Bodine home at 426 Logan street, Sewickley. Mr. Bodine is a Landscape Gardener.

Frank Bodine, 85, of Ford City RD 2 died Thursday at the Armsdale Home and Hospital, Kittanning RD 5. Born in Milan, Italy on Jan. 3, 1888, he was the son of Guisseppe and Stephanie Bodine. Until his retirement 10 years ago, Bodine had been a professional gardener in Sewickley. He was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Ford City. He is survived by his wife, Mabel (Walker) Bodine; one son Tony Bodine of Coraopolis; three daughters, Mrs. Louis (Emily) Lamark of Coraopolis, Mrs. Bernard (Natalie) Hasper of Tempe, Ariz., Mrs. Richard (Catherine) Lutz of Sewickley, one step-daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Twilabelle) Jones of Ford City RD 2; one sister, Mrs. Mary Graziola of Sewickley; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Frank and Mary Bodine were buried in Saint James Cemetery. Sewickley Heights, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
