On 5 June 1917, Oliver Joseph Murphy registered for the World War 1 draft in Chicago. He reported he was born 16 Nov 1893 in Chicago, worked in the coal business and was married. In Jan 1920, Oliver and Margaret Murphy lived in Chicago where Oliver worked as a driver for a coal company.
