On 12 Sept 1918, Arthur Sissner registered for the World War 1 draft in Chicago. He stated he was born 29 Oct 1882, worked as a motorman for the Chicago Surface line, and Edith Sissner was his next of kin. In April 1930, Arthur and Eva Sissner lived in Chicago where Arthur worked as a streetcar motorman. In 1942, Arthur Sissner of Chicago, Illinois registered for the World War II draft and reported he was born in Alsace, Lorraine. Edith Sissner did not die in Chicago.
