On 30 June 1942, Fred. Wilson Bodine of Dormony, Pennsylvania registered for the World War II Draft. He reported he was born 14 Jan 1924 in Pittsburgh, was unemployed, and named Mrs. F. W. Bodine as his next of kin.

The death of Fred W. Bodine on 14 March 2016 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania was posted to the Ancestry.com tree of a family member. No obituary was published, but his death is confirmed by the following legal notice:
