The Missouri death certificate (no. 1946-20979) of Claude Bodine reported he died of a coronary thrombosis and that of Nona Bodine (no. 1954-16688) that she died of a cerebral embolism. Both were buried in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Paris, Monroe County. Nona was the daughter of L. S. and Eliza J. (Hoard) Magruder.

PARIS--Mrs. Nona Bodine, 79, died about 9 p.m. Sunday at her home on South Main St. after suffering a stroke several weeks ago. Mrs. Bodine was born in Monroe County, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Magruder, and spent her life in this vacinity. Before the death of her husband Claude 10 years ago, she lived north of town and then moved into Paris after his death. Survivors include her sister, Mrs. Harve Ball, Paris; three brothers, Dysart Magruder of Paris, M. C. Magruder of San Angelo, Tex., and Fred Magruder of Washington, D.C. The body will be at the Speed and Blakey Funeral Home until Thursday afternoon when services are to be held at the Baptist Church by the Rev. Gene Osborn. The time has not been set. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
