VIOLET M. BODINE, 77, an executive secretary, died June 5, 1996, in Colorado Springs. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Calhan Cemetery, Calhan, with the Rev. Andy Dunning officiating. Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Ave., is handling arrangements. Mrs. Bodine was born Oct. 16, 1918, in Chicago to John and Madeline (Compagnon) Hunter. She was married Sept. 5, 1942, to Marion Bodine , who lives in Calhan. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon; and two grandchildren, Kristy Olyejar of Pueblo and S. Eric Olyejar of Greeley. She was preceded in death by a sister. Mrs. Bodine graduated from Oak Park High School in Oak Park, Ill., and secretarial college. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Calhan.
