John C. Bodine, 28, AND Lenore Simon, 24, were married 19 June 1911 in Chicago. [Note: Although her age is given as 24, she was born in March 1880. In 1900, Lenore Simon, born March 1900, lived with her mother Margarette Simon, in Chicago. Social Security records also noted her birth as 16 March 1880.]

On 12 Sept 1918, John Clarence Bodine registered for the World War 1 draft in Chicago, Illinois. He stated he was born 28 May 1878, worked as a designer and that Lenore Bodine of Chicago was his next of kin. In 1920, John Bodine lived in Chicago employed as a showroom and background designer.
