From Indiana Death Certificate of Elmer Shephard, husband of Annie Shephard, son of Chesley & Sarah Elizabeth (Black) Shephard, born 7 May 1887 in Indiana, died 25 Nov 1936 in Madison, Jefferson County, from falling out of a wagon and fracturing his spine, and was buried at Versailles. Informant was Annie Shephard of Madison.

SHEPHERD---Mrs. Sarah Shepherd, a sister of Miss Clara Bodine, 3817 Monroe, and Miss Alice Bodine, 2905 East Thirty-fifth, died yesterday at the home at Colo, Ia. She had visited here at the home of relatives several times. Mrs. Shepherd was born at Versailles, Ind., and moved to Iowa after her marriage. Services will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday at Colo. Burial will be at Versailles.
