Cecil Lewis Bodine Jr., 26, AND Catherine Ann Hill, 16, both of Paris, Monroe County, were married 20 Jan 1968 at St. Frances Church by Rev. John J. Butler, Catholic Priest.

Lucky Bodine, 79, of Paris, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born on January 16, 1942 in Paris, the son of Cecil and Edith Power Bodine. Lucky graduated from Monroe City High School. After high school he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from January 15, 1964 through January 14, 1966. On January 20, 1968 he married Catherine Hill in Paris, and she survives at home. Other survivors include; two daughters, Kim (Jeff) Magsamen and Tammy Vestal; two grandchildren; Belle Magsamen and Jon Laird; three brothers, Roy (Mary) Bodine, Carl (Melba) Bodine and Don (Betty) Bodine; one sister, Doris Wright and several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Alan Bodine; one sister, Faye Johnston; one brother-in-law, Jim Hill and one son-in-law, Jimmy Vestal. Over the years, Lucky was employed by North America Refractory in Farber, A.B. Chances in Centralia for 5 years, he owned and operated B & E Welding for 10 years, and retired from Moberly Correctional Center where he worked for 15 years. A service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Monroe County Cancer Supporters, c/o TPNB Bank, 118 N. Main Street, Paris, MO 65275. Agnew Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
