In April 1930, Franklin Bodine was age 8 and lived with his parents in Kent County, Delaware. He was named Franklin Bodine of Wilmington, Delaware in the July 1963 newspaper obituary of his brother William Bodine.

Frank Bodine, 62, of 206 Adele Place, Collins Park, died of natural causes Thursday at his home, according to the state medical examiner. Mr. Bodine worked as a dishwasher at the Howard Johnson's Restaurant at Interstate 295 and New Castle Avenue for about six years, retiring about a year ago. He was a World War II Army veteran. He is survived by a brother, Harry of Salisbury, Md.; and three sisters, Nora Poore and Rose Morris, with whom he lived, and Kate LePore of Florida. Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Gebhart Funeral Home, 531 Delaware St., New Castle, where friends may call 45 minutes earlier. Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park.
