William and Sue Bodine were buried in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. His military grave marker reflects a birth date of 22 Oct 1928, whereas the Social Security Administration records the date as 22 Oct 1929. He served in the U.S. Army from May 1946 to Nov 1947. As he was aged 10 in April 1940, the year 1929 appears to be correct.

William Charles Bodine applied for a SSN in September 1944 and reported he was born 22 Oct 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri, son of William C. 7 Gertrude (Greer) Bodine. He died July 1987. His last residence was St. Louis, MO.

The obituary of Floyd L. Jordan, 75, of St. Peters, son of Harold T. & Virginia Jordan, names among his survivors a sister, Patsy "Pat" Bodine of Maplewood. [Note: In 1940, Patsey Sue Jordan, 7 MO, lived in St. Louis with her brother Floyd and divorced mother, Virginia Hammett.]
