In 1850, John Bodine, age 10, lived with his sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and James Sutphin, in Raritan Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. In 1900, John M. Bodine, age 60 and single, lived with his sister and brother-in-law, Melvina and Isaac Pecare, in Aurora, Lawrence County, Missouri. As he does not appear in the 1910 census it appears likely he had died.
