Miss Edna Rooke Hipple, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benton G. Hipple, of Marietta, was united in marriage to William H. Bodine, Jr., of Roselle Park, N.J., at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Marietta Presbyterian Church by Rev. T. Stewart, of Christiana. Miss Mildred Bodine, a sister of the bridegroom, served as bridesmaid.
Edna Hipple was the daughter of Benton Gilman & Ella Barbara (Koehler) Hipple Sr. with whom she lived 1900 as Edna Hipple, born May 1894 PA, in Marietta, Lancaster Co., Penn. and aged 15 in 1910 in the same place.
William Bodine lived with his family in Roselle Park, Union County in 1930 and worked in the real estate business.

In 1942, William Horace Bodine Jr. of Roselle Park, Union County registered for the World War II draft. He reported his nearest kin was Mrs. Edna H. Bodine. William and Edna Bodine appear as residents of Elizabeth, New Jersey in that city's directory of 1959.

Roselle Park---William H. Bodine of 200 East Clay Ave., a real estate and insurance broker here since 1929, died Thursday night at his home of a heart attack. He was 64. Mr. Bodine was former secretary of the Citizens Building and Loan Association.
