On 30 June 1942, LeRoy Augustus Bodine of Post Falls, Idaho registered for the World War II Draft. He reported he was born 11 March 1924 in Post Falls, worked for his father at home, and named J. M. Bodine as his next of kin. [Note: he signed his name as LeRoy.]

Eleanor B. Bodine, age 82, a resident of Post Falls, Idaho passed away April 7, 2005 at Kootenai Medical Center. She was born February 25, 1923 in Choteau, Montana to Fred E. and Kathryn A. (Duffy) Dutro. Eleanor enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. She was a long-time member of the Cloverleaf Grange and gave freely of her time for Grange activities. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bodine. She is survived by her sister, Lauretta Washburn of Rathdrum, Idaho and her nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be at 12:00 noon, on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d'Alene Chapel. A private graveside committal will be at Forest Cemetery.
