Daniel Ernest bodine, of Trenton, died at the Vulcanized Rubber Mill as he was preparing to begin work. He was stricken with a heart attack in his 46th year. Son of Mrs. Adeline Bodine. Brother to Mrs. Rena Holcombe. He was married to Mrs. Mary Wilnetta Bodine, nee Moore. His son was Lloyd E. Bodine.
His obituary was published in the Lambertville Beacon on November 16, 1944.

On 12 Sept 1918, Dale Earnest Bodine registered for the World War I draft in Flemington, Hunterdon County. He reported he was a paper worker with Perseverence Paper Mill in Lambertville. In 1930, Ernest Bodine lived in Lambertville, Hunterdon County employed as an inspector for a rubber mill. Minetta (Moore) Bodine is the daughter of Hart Dilts and Myra (Lambert) Moore.

LAMBERTVILLE--Daniel Ernest Bodine, 46, of 69 York Street, husband of Mrs. Minetta Moore Bodine, who died suddenly of a heart attack while working Monday in Morrisville, will be buried from the Horner Funeral Home, 21 York Street, at 2:30 P.M. Friday. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Frank C. Hughes of First Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery here. Friends may call tomorrow evening at the funeral home. Bodine was the son of Mrs. Adeline Lake Bodine and the late John Bodine and in addition to his wife and mother is survived by a son, Lloyd E. Bodine, a sister, Mrs. Rena Holcombe, and two grandchildren, all of Lambertville. He was a member of Trenton Lodge, No. 164, Loyal Order of Moose.
