West Long Branch.---Mrs. Julia Bodine, 48, of 10 Wall street died at Monmouth Memorial hospital yesterday afternoon about two hours after she was injured in a fall at her home hanging curtains, according to Police Chief Earle M. Hanaway. Hospital authorities said Mrs. Bodine had suffered a hemorrhage. Dr. Julius A. Toren, county Physician, said an investigation of the death is being made and that he will perform an autopsy this morning. Mrs. Bodine was taken to the hospital by the Long Branch first aid squad shortly after 3 p.m. and died at 5:10 p.m. while undergoing X rays, hospital authorities reported. Mrs. Bodine is survived by her husband, Thurston B. Bodine; two sons, Charles Bodine, West Long Branch; Thurston Bodine, Long Branch; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Sees, Trenton; two brothers, William Ellhoff, Georgia; James Ellhoff, Tennessee. She was born in Trenton, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Ellhoff. She was a member of Old Methodist church. Arrangements are in charge of the Wooley funeral home.

West Long Branch---Thurston B. Bodine, 77, of 10 Wall St., died yesterday. Mr. Bodine was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a retired engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad, and was the husband of the late Julie Bodine. Surviving are a son, Charles, Pompano Beach, Fla., three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The Woolley Funeral Home, Long Branch, is in charge of arrangements.
