1st marriage--1940--GERALDINE RUTT.

Harold Day Bodine, 23, single, of Belvidere, NJ, truck driver, born in New Jersey, son of Harry Bodine & Alice Dugan AND Geraldine Rutt, 22, single, of Bangor, PA, born in PA, dau. of Osborne Rutt & Lucy Harding, were married 22 June 1940 in Leesburg, by Raymond L. Moore, Minister of the Methodist Church.

Geraldine Rutt applied for a SSN in November1936 and reported she was born 24 June 1920 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, dau. of Osborn & Lucy (Harding) Rutt. She reported her name as Geraldine Flinn in April 1960, Geraldine Kallas in May 1972 and Geraldine Cutler in Feb 1984. She died 1 June 2000. The last residence of Geraldine Cutler was Saylorsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania.

Geraldine Cutler. Mrs. Cutler had been employed as a waitress locally, including 11 Main Restaurant and the Gateway Diner. She then worked as a home health aide in the Ellenville area and was employed by Ulster County Health Aides. Born June 24, 1920, in Bangor, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Osborn and Lucy Harding Rutt. Survivors include a son, Bruce Bodine of Catskill; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A son, Harold Bodine, died previously. Services were in Stroudsburg with burial in Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Clark Funeral Home, Stroudsburg, Pa.


2nd marriage--1953--HELEN IRENE ADAMS.

Helen Irene Adams applied for a SSN in May 1943 and reported she was born 26 May 1927 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, dau. of Mike & Susan (Drevyanko) Adams. In May 1953 she reported her name as Helen Irene Bodine, in Aug 1975 as Helen I. Smoyer. She was also known as Helen Irene Poejuban. She died 17 Sept 1994. Her last residence was Royersford, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. [Note: She was buried in Providence Mennonite Church Cemetery, Collegeville, Montgomery Co., Penn.]


3rd marriage--1965--LOTTIE K. KARPINSKI.
Harold D. Bodine AND Lottie K. Karpenski were married 12 June 1965. [They were divorced and on 14 Dec 1968 in Cecil County, Lottie K. Bodine married William H. Henderson.]

Harold D. Bodine, 9 Cliffwood Ave. Cliffwood Beach, passed away on October 12 at New England Deaconness Hospital, Boston, Mass, after a long illness. He was 52 years of age. Born in Phillipsburg, N.J, he had been a resident of this area for the past 6 years. He was employed as an over the road truck driver with Spector Freight Co. of Secaucus and was a member of Teamsters Local #707, New York City. He held membership in the V.F.W. in Somerset, Pa., and St. Stephen's Lodge If 63, F.& A. M. of South Amboy. He is survived by: his wife, Mrs. Lottie Karpinski Bodine; his mother, Mrs. Alice D. Bodine, Easton, Pa.; two sons, Bruce and Nelson Bodine, both of Lake Katrine, N.Y.: two sisters, Mrs. Frances Sanders, Phillipsburg, N.J., and Mrs. Dorothy Struble, Mt. Bethel, Pa., and by 3 grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Wednesday October 16 it 11 a.m. from the Mason - Wilson Funeral Home. The Rev. Eldrich C. Campbell, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiated. Interment was held in Christ Church Cemetery. St. Stephen's Lodge #63 conducted Masonic Funeral Services at the funeral home on Tuesday evening.
