Frances B. Sanders, 87, of Red School Lane, Lopatcong Township, formerly of Harmony-Montana Road, died Thursday, May 18, in her home. She worked in the lab at Baker Chemical in Phillipsburg in the 1950s. She was active with Warren County as a homemaker. Born April 25, 1913 in Belvidere, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Alice Viola Bodine. She was a volunteer at Hackettstown Community Hospital, where she was active in the thrift shop and with Meals On Wheels. She was formerly a member of the Warren County Beagle Club and a member of the African Violet Club. Her husband, John B., died in 1973. She is survived by a son, John R. of Wilson Borough; a brother, Harry Junior Bodine of Florida; a sister, Dorothy Struble of Nazareth; two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A brother, Harry Day Bodine, died earlier. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg. Call 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
