Services for Jeffrey Bodine, a computer operator with the Social Security Administration, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Henry W. Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home, 4905 York Road in Towson. Mr. Bodine, of Eutaw Place, died Friday. His family did not wish to disclose the cause of death but said he died after a long illness. He was 49. He was educated in the Baltimore County public school system and graduated from Milford Mill High School in 1960. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea. He returned to Baltimore and enrolled in computer school. He began working as a computer operator for the Social Security Administration in the late 1960s and stayed for more than 20 years. A student of music most of his life, Mr. Bodine was an accomplished classical pianist and professional soloist. He began playing the piano at age 8 and studied at the Peabody Conservatory of Music during high school. He enjoyed the opera and the symphony. Mr. Bodine was a member of the Baltimore Music Club, the Classic Car Club of America, the Rolls Royce Owners Club, the Antique Motor Club of Greater Baltimore Inc. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Bodine, and a sister, Joan Muniz, both of Glyndon.
