WASHINGTON--Theodore W. Hoppock, 62, of 39 Beethovan Ave., Washington died Sunday in Warren Hospital. He was a retired route salesman for Shaibles Bakery. Born in Broadway, he was a son of the late Howard and Tamson Deremer Hoppock. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Washington. Survivors include his widow, the former Martha Jane Bodine; a son, Theodore H., Washington, D.C.; three brothers, Kenneth, Washington; Clifford, Melfa, Va., and Ernest, El Paso, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Heinrich, Broadway. Services were held Wednesday in the DeVoe Funeral Home, Washington. Interment was in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton. |

Martha Jane Hoppock, 83, of Kensington, Md., formerly of Washington, died Thursday, Jan. 17, in her home. She was a homemaker and helped her late husband in his bread route. Born May 6, 1918, in Asbury, she was a daughter of the late Frank H. and Edna L. Rush Bodine. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Washington. Her husband, Theodore W., died in 1973. She is survived by a son, Theodore H. of Chevy Chase, Md.; two sisters, Alice Kries and Margaret, both of Washington; and three grandchildren. A brother, Joseph; two half brothers, Robert and Fletcher; and two sisters, Dolly Rounsville and Elizabeth Hoppock, died earlier. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the DeVoe Funeral Service, 136 W. Washington Ave., Washington. Call from noon Monday to time of services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton.
