Nance Bodine, born in Nelson Co., KY; died 7 Feb 1911 in Bardstown, Nelson Co. of stomach cancer and buried at Bloomfield. Parents were Isaac Bodine and Elizabeth Dugan. Informant was Neal Bodine.

Mrs. Emma. Bodine, of this city, died Tuesday afternoon at St Joseph's Hospital in Louisville, after an illness of several weeks. The body was taken to Bloomfield for burial, the funeral took place Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Methodist church in that city. Rev. M. M. Murrell, of this city officiating. Deceased was 49 years of age and is survived by one son, Lovelace, and one daughter, Miss Margaret. Mrs. Bodine had but recently removed from her home in the Bloomfield neighborhood to Bardstown. During the early fall her son, Lovelace was united in marriage to Miss Lucille Allison, of this city, and for the purpose of giving her farm to the young couple the mother removed to a cottage on Broadway in this city. Deceased was a highly esteemed, christian woman and was unusually popular in that portion of the county from which she removed.
