On 24 Aug 1918, John Henry Bodine registered for the World War I draft in Ashland, Wisconsin. He reported he was employed as an electrician and that Louis Bodine, of Ashland, his father, was his next of kin. In Jan 1920, aged 22 and single, he lived with his parents in Ashland and worked as a house painter. His death was recorded by the State of Minnesota as Henry J. Bodine.Wilma (Wheeler) Bodine was the daughter of Elton Milton and Mary Margaret (Hewitt) Wheeler.
