In 1880, Ella E. Berdine, age 18, lived with her parents in Farmington, Fulton County, Illinois. The census noted that she was suffering with the measles. In 1910, Frank and Ella Wertz lived in Los Angeles, California. Frank reported that in 21 years of marriage the couple had had no children.
