BODINE--Mary C. (nee Menger), on March 23, 1953; devoted wife of Joseph G.; beloved mother of Ruth Brennan, Dorothy Kunze and Florence Bodine; dear daughter of Catherine and the late Henry G. Menger; loving sister of George Menger and William Northrop, also survived by 1 grandson.

A requiem mass will be offered at 10:30 A.M. tomorrow in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Woodside, for Mrs. Mary Menger Bodine, 50, who died in her home at 32-71 48th street, Long Island City, after a brief illness. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Flushing, under direction of the Quinn chapel at 36-10 Broadway, Astoria. A native of Manhattan, Mrs. Bodine lived in North Queens 24 years. Her husband, Joseph G., is an employee of the Board of Transportation. Other survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Brennan, Mrs. Dorothy Kunze, and Miss Florence Bodine, all of Long Island City; two brothers, George and William, and one grandchild.

A requiem mass for Joseph G. Bodine, 61, retired Consolidated Edison employee, will be offered tomorrow at 9:45 A.M. in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Cambria Heights. The Thomas M. Quinn and Son Funeral Home 35-20 Broadway, Long Island City, is in charge. Mr. Bodine, a widower, of 113-24 210th street, Queens Village, died Saturday in in St. Claire's Hospital, Manhattan, after a long illness. Born in Manhattan, he had lived in Queens Village for the past year, after 31 years in Astoria. He retired from Con Ed a year ago after ten years' service as a turbine operator. His wife, Mary, died in 1953. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Brennan and Miss Florence, both of Long Island City and Mrs. Dorothy Kunze of Queens Village; a brother, Lawrence of Manhattan, and nine grand- children.
