ALBERT LEO BODINE of St. Joseph, Missouri, registered for the World War II Draft on 30 June 1942. He reported he was born 13 Sept 1922 in Falls City, Nebraska, was unemployed, and named Eli Bodine, of St. Joseph [his father] as his next of kin.
Albert Bodine was a World War II Army veteran serving from 26 Dec 1942 to 15 Dec 1945. Saint Joseph city directories from 1951 to 1959 show Albert Bodine employed as a bottler with the M. K. Goetz Brewing Company. His wife Marjorie is listed living with him.

Mrs. Marjorie I. Bodine, 41, wife of Albert L. Bodine, 1122 North 9th street, died this morning at St. Joseph hospital. She was a member of Savannah Avenue Baptist Church. In addition to the husband, survivors include her father, William J. Duncan, Troy, Kan.; one brother, William Edward Duncan, St. Joseph, and three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Louise Bolinger, Mrs. Leona Beatrice Eberry and Mrs. Doris Eunice Mackley, all of St. Joseph. The body is at the Heaton-Bowman mortuary pending service arrangements.

Albert Leo Bodine, 52, died unexpectedly Saturday morning at his home, 1840 South Belt. He was born at Falls City, Neb., and lived most of his life in St. Joseph. Mr. Bodine had worked for 28 years as a bottler for the Pearl Brewing Co. and its predecessor, the M. K. Goetz Brewing Co. He was a World War II veteran anda member of the Eagles Lodge. Surviving him are a sister, Mrs. Grace Ray, Paola, Kan., and four brothers, William Bodine, Maysville; Eli Bodine, Osawatomie, Kan.; Raymond Bodine, Hutchinson, Kan.; and Leon Bodine, Mount Clemens, Mich. Service arrangements are pending at the Rupp mortuary.
