On 9 Sept 1918, Stanley Bodine registered in Flemington, Hunterdon County for the World War I draft. He reported that he worked as a clerk for the J. L. Mott Company in Trenton. On 29 Oct 1942, Stanley Bodine, at the age of 44, enlisted in the U.S. Army in Newark, New Jersey. At the time of his enlistment he was unmarried.
