Bonnie M. Bodine, 56, of Monroe, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Born April 2, 1956, in Monroe. Bonnie was the daughter of Raymond (Thelma "Jean" Stininger) Bodine. Bonnie worked as a floral vendor at Meijer in Oregon, OH, and in Monroe; also at Family Dollar in Monroe. Bonnie was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for Monroe Post 1138, Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was a very social person and loved animals, playing darts, planting flowers and gardening. Bonnie is survived by her father Ray of Maybee; siblings, Jerry Bodine of Monroe, Darlene (Steve) Jones of Dundee and Denise Bennett-Bodine of Dundee; nieces, Crystal (Keith) Walther, Jean Bennett; nephew, Wally Bennett Jr., all of Dundee; great nieces and nephews Kristina, Kevin, Cora-Jean and Cole Walther. She was also a companion of Richard. Bonnie was preceded in death by her mother. Friends may call 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at The Liedel Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 9061 Raisin St., Maybee. Funeral services will be Tuesday 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
