Russell Carman Bodine, born 29 July 1910 in Peru, Peru County to Roscoe C. Bodine, 26 and Lenora Masterman, 19, both parents born in Marshall County, Indiana.

The Walkerton News on 5 Aug 1910 reported the birth of a son to Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Bodine. This child, Carman C. Bodine, age 9, was living with his mother and stepfather in Jan 1920 in Walkerton, St. Joseph County and in April 1930 in Los Angeles, California.

Russell Carman Bodine, 26, of Santa Monica, Calif., born in Indiana, son of Roscoe Bodine & Lanora Masterman AND Blanche Marlene Rauen, 23, of Santa Monica, Calif., born in Wisconsin, daughter of Tom Rauen & May C. Loepeck, were married 13 Feb 1937 in Santa Monica, by John J. Curran, Catholic Priest.
