RONALD S. BODINE, 63, of Mount Laurel, died Saturday at the Leader Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Cherry Hill. Mr. Bodine was a principal for the Burlington Township School District, most recently principal of the district's basic skills and summer school programs from 1990 to 1992. He also had served as principal of the township's Pinewald School for eight years in the 1970s. He began teaching at age 35 and taught in the Camden and Philadelphia School Districts. From 1980 to 1988, he was fund raising director for IFS, a school fund-raising company. He was a 1950 graduate of Merchantville High School, the Peddie School in Lawrenceville, the University of Miami, Glassboro State College (now Rowan College), and Rutgers University in New Brunswick. He was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha and Delta Theta Phi fraternities. Mr. Bodine was a member of the Jaycees and the Mount Laurel Lions Club, and had served on the board of directors of the American Heart Association. He was a member of Medford Lodge 178 Free and Accepted Masons. He had held a real estate license since 1959. Survivors: his wife, Ruth Ann Janiszewski Bodine; a son, Ronald S. "Beau" Jr. of Philadelphia; a daughter, Ceryle Lise Bodine of San Francisco; a stepdaughter, Deborah Gasko of Cinnaminson; and three grandchildren. Services: viewing, 7 p.m. today and 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, Stephenson-Brown Funeral Home, 33 W. Maple Ave., Merchantville; Masonic, 8 p.m. today at the funeral home; funeral, 11 a.m. tomorrow, Haddonfield United Methodist Church, 29 Warwick Rd., Haddonfield; burial, Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
