On 5 June 1917, Robert MacBurney Bodine registered for the World War I draft in Camden, New Jersey. He reported he was born 18 May 1889 in New Brunswick, was single, and worked as a lathe hand for the Camden Forge Company.
Augusta Newbranch was the daughter of Victor C. and Anna (McCloskey) Newbranch. She married 1st James E. Morrison in 1902 in Philadelphia.

The 1928 Camden city directory lists Robert Mc. and Lottie Bodine as residents and that of 1931 lists Lottie Bodine, widow of Robert, as a resident.

Robert Bodine, Camden, N.J., was removed from Union Station to Utica Memorial Hospital, Monday night t 11:10 suffering from a heart attack. He was en route to Saranac Lake because of illness.

Survived by four sons, James and Victor Morrison of Camden, Joseph Morrison of Bellmawr, Robert Bodine, Mantua, 3 daughters, Mrs. Anna Norman, Mrs. Helen Bodine, both of Camden, Mrs. Betty Miller of Mantua, age 87 years. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Thursday, 9 a.m., at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Mantua, N.J. Requiem mass 10 a.m. at Church of Incarnation. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Viewing Wednesday evening.
