In 1910, Frank Bodine, age 29 and single, was living with his parents in Walnut, Bureau County and working as a home carpenter. On 12 Sept 1918, Frank Edison Bodine registered for the World War I draft in Bureau County, Illinois. In 1920, Frank Bodine, age 38 and single, was still living with his parents and engaged in farming. In 1930, aged 49 and single, he lived with his mother in Walnut and worked as a salesman. Frank Bodine was buried in Walnut Cemetery, Bureau County.

Frank Bodine, 56, of Walnut, died Wednesday afternoon at the Princeton hospital. He was taken critically ill last Sunday. The decedent was second son of Mr. and Mrs. William Bodine, both deceased, and had lived his entire life at Walnut. Survivors are brothers Clarence of Ohio, Roy of Walnut and sister Florence of Walnut. A nephew and niece live in Ohio. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Saturday afternoon at the home in Walnut.
