John N. Robertson, 69, of Elyria died at Elyria Memorial Hospital Monday following a long illness. He was born in Elyria and was a lifelong area resident. He retired in 1975 from Fisher Body General Motors Division as a tool and die maker with 30 years of service. He was a member of the Lake Avenue United Church of Christ and an avid bowler. He was past treasurer of the General Motors credit union. He is survived by his wife, Regina (nee Bodine) to whom he had been married 44 years; daughters, Mrs. Myron (Peg) Lassen of Lorain, Mrs. Robert (Sara) Bennett of Elyria; sons, John M. Robertson II of Alamonte Springs, Fla., Thomas M. of Winter Garden, Fla., Richard A. of Lakewood; eight grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Clyde Baker of Lantana, Fla., Mrs. Ralph Fulmer of Orlando, Fla.
Friends may call at the Curtis- Scheuffler Funeral Home tonight 7-9 and Thursday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Dr. Henry W. Bruner will officiate. Burial at Brookdale Cemetery.
