Jane E. Bodine, age 35 and single, was living 1880 with her parents in New Haven, Huron County, Ohio. In 1910, Jennie B. Schiffer, age 65 and widowed, was living with her brother Guy Bodine and his family in New Haven, Huron County.

From State of Ohio Certificate of Death for Jennie E. Schiffer, widow of Wm. Schiffer, born 7 April 1845 in Huron County, Ohio, dau. of Cornelius Bodine & Hagerline [sic] Carpenter; died 5 Dec 1928 in New Haven Twp., Huron County of "Old age--just quit eating no disease except total blindness for 25 years." Buried in Pioneer Cemetery, Plymouth, Richland County. Informant was L. Guy Bodine of Plymouth, Ohio.
