James T. Bodine, 78, of Manor, formerly of Wilkinsburg, on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005. Beloved husband of Frances May (Yakovich) Bodine; loving father of James (Marilyn) Bodine, of Washington Township, Sharon (Robert) Gerstel, of Irwin, Robert (Keily) Bodine, of Harrison City, Mary Ann (Bill) Long, of Level Green, and the late Thomas Bodine; also six grandchildren. James was a World War II Navy veteran and also worked at the Kaufmann's warehouse on the North Side for 48 years. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL), corner of Beatty Road and Route 48 north, Monroeville, 412-856-4747, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Interment with military honors will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Three Rivers Family Hospice, 3001 Jacks Run Road, White Oak, PA 15131.

Frances May (Yakovich) Bodine, 77, of Manor, formerly of Wilkinsburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009. Beloved wife of late James Bodine; loving mother of James (Marilyn) Bodine, of Apollo, Sharon (Robert) Gerstel, of Harrison City, Robert (late Keily) Bodine, of Harrison City, Mary Ann (late William) Long, of Level Green, and the late Thomas Bodine; sister of Frank Yakovich, of Florida, and Carol Hill, of Monroeville; also six grandchildren. Frances was a member of the Homemaker Club of Irwin, the Senior Citizens of Jeannette and Hermine, and a choir member at Manor First United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL), corner of Beatty Road and 48 North, Monroeville, 412 856-4747, where a service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
