Bodine, Wilmer, 89, Mount Victory. Services for Wilmer Bodine will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Price Funeral Home in Mount Victory by Pastor Andy Stahler. Burial will be in the Otterbein Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. today. He died at 9:20 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009 at the Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 7, 1920 in Hardin County to Roy and Wavie (Duff) Bodine . On July 12, 1941, in Rushsylvania, he married Betty Louise Roby and she survives. Also surviving are a son, Wilmer L. (Susan) Bodine of Mount Victory; a daughter, Vonna Marie Chamberlain (Edwin) Miller of Mount Victory; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He reitred in 1981 after 31 years at Rockwell of Kenton. He was a member of the former board of public affairs in Mount Victory and was superintendent of the Mount Victory water plant. He also owned the former Bodine Ready Mix Concrete Company of Mount Victory and he owned an apple orchard in Mount Victory. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Mount Victory, where he was a past superintendent, deacon, elder and treasurer. He enjoyed model trains and airplanes. Memorials may be made to the Mount Victory Church of Christ or the donor's choice.

Services for Betty Bodine will be private. Burial will take place in Otterbein Cemetery. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory is handling the arrangements. She died at 9:24 P.M. Saturday, December 16, 2016 at Kenton Nursing and Rehab. She was born October 7, 1922 to the late Roy and Crystal (James) Roby. On July 12, 1941 she married Wilmer A. Bodine and he preceded her in death on October 22, 2009. Surviving are a daughter; Vonna (Ed) Chamberlain-Miller of Mt. Victory, a son Wilmer Lee (Susie) Bodine of Mt. Victory, 6 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers; James Roby, Richard Roby Charles Roby, a step-brother; Dellbert Rody and a great-great infant granddaughter. Betty was involved in many various organizations. She was a cub scout and 4-H leader. She was also the president of her local garden club and helped with the Hardin County Fair. Betty was a life member of the Mt. Victory Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Betty was a homemaker who truly enjoyed being a being a mom and grandmother. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mt. Victory Church of Christ or Heartland Hospice. Online condolences may be expressed at pricefh.net.
