Charles Bodine and his family lived 1860 in Hopewell, Cumberland County, New Jersey where Charles was engaged as a carriage maker. His household included his brother William Bodine, age 20, also engaged as a carriage maker. In 1870-1880, the Bodine family lived in Stow Creek Township, Cumberland County, where Charles worked as a wheelwright. In 1880, his mother Rebecca was living with him. The family lived 1900 in Philadelphia's 14th Ward where Charles continued his work as a carriage smith. The couple reported that in 48 years marriage Hannah had borne 2 children, both then living. In 1910 and 1920, Charles and Hannah Bodine lived with their son-in-law and daughter, Benjamin and Mary Swing, in Philadelphia's 32nd Ward. Their ages in 1920 were 89 and 87 respectively. Hannah (Ware) Bodine was the daughter of William and Hannah (Delaney) Ware. See Ware, Franklin,.
