The remains of a body believed that of a man who disappeared nearly two years ago were discovered yesterday in dense woods near Burke, Fairfax County, Virginia. Police said the body lay directly under a rope noose which hung from the limb of a tree. It was discovered by Vernon O'Rourke, of Route 4, Fairfax, about 300 yards off Burke rd., near the Garden Cemetery. Detective Sgt. W. G. Haines said the body was tentatively identified as that of Henry C. Bodine, 41, who lived nearby. He said Bodine has been missing since May, 1957, from the home of a relative. Haines said the victim apparently committed suicide by hanging.
