In 1830, James Bodine Jr., aged between 20 and 29, was living in South Amboy Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey. His household, aside from himself, consisted only of a male aged 70 to 79 and a female aged 60 to 69. The elderly household members are clearly his parents. James appears not to have married and was not named in his father's will, indicating he had died prior to 10 May 1836, when his father wrote his will.
