Louis and Nettie Wilcox and their 2 sons were living 1900 in Wellsboro, Tioga County where Louis was employed as a dry goods clerk. Harry and Annette MacNeil were living 1920-1930 in Fonda, New York where Harry worked as manager of a knitting mill.

Mrs. Nettie Bodine MacNeil, formerly of Wellsboro, died at her home at Fonda, N.Y. Monday, at 4 a.m., following a long period of poor health. Mrs. MacNeil was the wife of Harry MacNeil of Fonda with whom she had spent the past winter in Florida returning to her home only two weeks ago. Mr. MacNeil returned North about two months ago and was suddenly taken with a stroke since being confined in a New York Hospital. Both were patients at the Kellogg Sanatarium at Miami while in Florida. Mrs. MacNeil was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Bodine, born in Oil City in 1870. She was twice married. Two sons, Clark Wilcox, of Brockton, Mass. and Robert Wilcox, of New York, and one brother, Charles W. Bodine of Wellsboro, besides her husband survive. A granddaughter and grandson also survive. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Bodine attended funeral services to be held today at Fonda.

FONDA, May 5 (Special).---Harry Y. MacNeil, this village's most prominent citizen, died early this morning at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph H. Kurlbaum in Amsterdam following a second stroke suffered a few days ago. He had been in failing health for many months. Mr.MacNeil was born here September 16, 1879, son of George and Elizabeth Martin MacNeil and spent his lifetime here. Following his graduation from Fonda High School he became a clerk in the National Mohawk River Bank and shortly after began his 40 years of service with the Fonda Glove Lining Company. Starting as a bookkeeper, Mr. MacNeil later became treasurer and vice president, then president of the board of directors. For many years he was trustee and president of the Evergreen Cemetery Association of this village, and he served at different times as village president for eight years and as village trustee. He was a member of the Democratic county committee. As president of the board of education from May, 1935 until July, 1937, when he resigned because of ill health, Mr. MacNeil was instrumental in starting the movement for a new school, which is now under construction. Mr. MacNeil was made a director of the National Mohawk Bank January 11, 1916, and became its vice president July 31, 1933. He was a trustee of the Lucia N. Littauer foundation, and his fraternal affiliations included Fultonville Lodge, F. and A. M.; Gloversville Commandery and Cypress Temple Shrine of Albany. He belonged to the Johnstown Colonial Club and was a former member of the Antlers and Sir William Johnson country clubs. A charter member of the Gloversville Christian Science Church, Mr. MacNeil was also a member of the local Methodist church. His first wife, the former Miss Laeo Duxbury of this village, whom he married in 1901, died in 1914. They had one daughter. In 1917 Mr. MacNeil married Miss Annette Bodine Wilcox of Amsterdam, who died in May, 1937. Survivors in addition to his daughter are a granddaughter, Emily Susan Kurlbaum of Amsterdam, and several cousins. Rev. H. H. Richardson of the Methodist church will conduct funeral services Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Mr. MacNeil's home on Montgomery terrace here, and burial will be made in the family plot in Evergreen cemetery.
