Howard O. O. Darrow, son of Peter Darrow & Hellen Durbin AND Myra E. Bodine, dau. of Eugene Bodine & Cora Amerman were married 15 Dec 1910.
On 5 June 1917 in Owasco, Cayuga County, Howard Oliver Otis Darrow registered for the World War 1 draft. He stated he was born 30 Nov 1886 in Niles, New York, worked as a farmer and mail carrier, was married and had one child. In Jan 1920, the family lived in Oswego, Cayuga County where Howard worked as a club director and in April 1930, the family lived in Rochester, Monroe County. Howard was recorded as Harold Darrow and worked as a hospital telephone operator. A 1928 newspaper article of "The Auburn Citizen" reported that Howard Darrow worked at the Strong Memorial Hospital and was a Democratic candidate for Sheriff and former member of the assembly for Cayuga County.
In 1942, Howard Oliver Darrow, a resident of Rochester, NY, registered for the World War II Draft and reported he was born 30 Nov 1886 in Niles, Cayuga Co., NY. He named Margaret C. Darrow as his next of kin.

DARROW---Howard O. Darrow, of 3686 Chili Ave., Wednesday, April 3, 1957. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Connor; his daughter, Donna; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Peacock and Mrs. Irving Bodine, Auburn, N.Y.; two brothers, Fred, Auburn, N.Y., and Thomas, Moravia, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Chili Republican Club and a veteran of World War I. Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family. A memorial service for Mr. Darrow will be held Sunday, April 7, 1957 at 2:30 p.m., in the Chili Presbyterian Church, Rev. Phillip Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the organ fund of Chili Presbyterian Church in Mr. Darrow's memory, will be greatly appreciated.

Mrs. Myra Bodine Darrow, 79, of 3 Grover St., died today in Auburn Memorial Hospital after a two-month illness. Born in Owasco she had resided inthis area most of her life. Mrs. Darrow was a direct descendant of Miles Standish. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Surviving is a granddaughter, Mrs. Fred Cathart of Nipomo, Calif.; two nieces, Mrs. Raymond Seamans and Mrs. Raymond Baker of Auburn; two nephews, Alvin Edwards of Auburn and Standish Bodine of Owasco and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Langham Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard J. Blocker, pastor of Sand Beach Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Owasco Rural Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
